I wish Game Boy VC games had multiplayer support

Game Boy games on the VC retain everything, including the menu option for 2 player but it isn't actually available.

I heard NES VC games like Ice Climber will have multiplayer support in future. In Japan, the VC version of Columns for the Game Gear has multiplayer support(the game isn't out here yet).

I'd love for it to be available. I have Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (currently an ambassador title) and it would be fantastic if I could play that game with another friend who has the game on their 3DS.

It was always a pain trying to find someone to play multiplayer with in the actual Game Boy days. Now with the local wireless capability it really ought to be possible and available.
