This needs to be celebrated as much as possible! DLC destroys the value of games and it's an epidemic today.

Thank goodness we have a major release here that doesn't resort to this value killing.

Also, let us celebrate not out of diminished expectations but out of the triumph of quality.

ALERT! Sonic Lost World bonus content is DLC only?

I just noticed something that sneaked past me in SEGA's marketing; it's the notion that the special edition of Sonic Lost World for Wii U may not have the bonus content on disc and available; it may be an exclusive download code.

I think I'll hold off on buying the game until I have the full story on this.

Remember you have until 23:59 on 22nd of May 2013 to download this DLC for free. If you don't it won't be free anymore.

You have to play a bit of the game before you're able to do it so take note if you're planning on doing this.

This is the European version of course.

Got the 30,000 coin maximum in NSMB2 Coin Rush

Thanks to the free level pack Nintendo put out recently I was able to do this without too much trouble.

I still only have around 300k coins though so I'm a long way off to that 1 million yet.

The best example of add-on content I've seen.

Fallblox has new levels being released by Nintendo in the form of QR codes.

The advantage of having this rather than some company's server is that the new content can be saved as JPGs and distributed by anyone.

La Mulana is out on WiiWare at last and it doesn't have shitty DLC! Yes!

I just saw Nintendo Life's revew of the game and they gave it a 10/10. I was delighted to read that there wasn't any DLC! Yes!

If you don't know about the big long development process of this game it was because of crappy pointless DLC that this game was delayed so much and also why Nicalis eventually refused to publish it. I can tell you right now that they would've published it long long ago if only the developer didn't bother to even think of ripping us off with DLC in the first place.

Now that the game doesn't have DLC it actually has some worth. Horray!
