Wario Land 4 coming to Wii U VC in Ireland this week

Hey if you haven't played this already look forward to it! It's an excellent game, not quite as good as Wario Land 2 (my favourite and which is available on 3DS VC). A freakin' book has been written about this game!

I always found it to be an amazing aural experience so make sure you have good stereo speakers with which to listen while you play.

The Mysterious Murasame Castle debuts in Ireland on 3DS VC

Known in Japan as Nazo no Murasame Jo, it's one of Nintendo's other franchises that's usually known only in culturally celebratory articles. Hmm... I wonder if I should make a label for this?

Anyway the game is getting its first official release in Ireland on 3DS VC this week. I can only assume it's gonna be in 60 Hz.

Klonoa: Empire of Dreams coming to VC

Another GBA game from Namco is coming to VC, this time it's Klonoa. Never really bothered with this series but now's a nice time to give it a go.

Mr Driller 2 coming to Wii U VC

Some third party games like this are gonna be showing up. This is the GBA version.

Donkey Kong Land 3 is now on the Japanese VC

Unfortunately for them it's the rubbish colourised version that makes all the map screens static and garishly coloured.

But yeah, they have the whole GB trilogy now! I'd love to see them on our VC (except for this GBC remake of course)

Seeing some nice adverts for the US release of Mario 3 on VC

And why not? It is one of the greatest games ever after all :)

Nintendo are making a big deal out of it which is pretty cool. Not many VC games get that treatment and it's kind of fun seeing how excited Americans are getting over the fact that they can play 2-player through download play.

The rest of us already know about this and we'd like to see the same kind of multi-player thing for GB releases on VC.

Golden Sun coming to Wii U VC this week

Just heard this is coming this week. I never played this game so this would be a decent chance to get it.

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and Wario Ware coming to Wii U VC this week

They're both great games. Wario Ware's the better one and the Kirby game is my favourite Metroidvania.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is one of the greatest RPGs ever and it's on VC now

Just an excuse to say that it's one of the best RPGs ever and puts everything else to shame, INCLUDING THE LIKES OF CHRONO TRIGGER! It also has THREE sequels that are just as good and better. They're all different stories but every single one of them is amazing and should be purchased immediately.

It's on Virtual Console now and... oh it's just happy days all round :)

Donkey Kong Land is coming to 3DS Virtual Console!

YES! I love this Game Boy trilogy which was prominent in the mid to late 90s. They had some great atmosphere, especially on a Super Game Boy. Completely different games from their Country counterparts too.

GBA games appearing for Wii U VC from April 3rd

Advance Wars seems to be the first one to show up so far. I doubt there'll be multi-player but Advance Wars has the advantage of being turn based so you can just swap the controls when it's the other player's turn.

Dr Mario free if you've bought Dr Luigi

Nice offer here. This is the kind of thing everyone likes to see. Dr. Mario is coming out on the Wii U VC this week and if you buy Dr Luigi then you can get this for free. Also, this release of the game is in 60 Hz. Yay!

Gargoyle's Quest 2 coming to VC!

An OFLC rating popped up for this recently so yay! Gargoyle's Quest 2 is on its way! Dunno which VC but it better be in 60 Hz!

DS games coming to Wii U VC!

This is good news! Maybe this is the chance for games like the two Zeldas for the DS to get proper analogue stick controls!

Penguin Adventure MSX heading to Japanese Wii U VC *sigh*

I love this game. They probably won't release it on our VC though and even if they did, they'd probably hamper us with the 50 Hz version.

At least we have good MSX emulators.

(What we really need though is a remake or something)

I just heard the European version of Legend of the Mystical Ninja for SNES will be on the VC this week :(

Konami! Don't dump 50 Hz only games on us! It is a HATEFUL thing to do to your European fans! You put the 60 Hz Contra 3 there the other week, so why not continue with that?!

Seriously Konami, don't make a habit of this. You're in charge of too many VC games for this to continue.

Mario Tennis the GBC RPG OMG

This just came out on the 3DS VC all by its ownsome this week and it's a fan favourite. You'd often see message boards talk it up and everything. Have a look for yourself if you want to see what the fuss is all about.
