Got my commemorative coins!

Remember NOE's promotion where you register Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower and Last Story and you'll get a 3-coin collection with the game titles engraved on them? Well mine just arrived in the post the other day!

It's just an ornamental thing but still it's nice to feel like a valued customer. Thanks Nintendo!

Pandora's Tower is better than Last Story and Xenoblade

I've only just beaten the third boss but I've decided already. The other two games I found very hard to stay interested in for long but this one keeps me coming back. Last Story in particular is definitely the weakest.

Reviewers may be saying that Pandora's Tower is the weakest but don't be fooled! It's the most accessible and interesting one of the lot.

Now Xenoblade alright you could say it's just a different kind of game and that's fair and it can be very exciting at times.

You might have seen Pandora's Tower described as being like Zelda or like Castlevania. Well, it's true. There's a strong flavour of both these games in Pandora's Tower.

Xenoblade vs. Last Story, which is better?

For my American readers who are hugely excited about these games coming out I'd just like to say this brief thing. Before either of these games came out I could see that most people here were more interested in Last Story than Xenoblade but were interested in both.

Now it turns out that everybody prefers Xenoblade.

USK ratings are hateful boxart ruiners

So here's the official website detailing all the stuff that's going to be in the limited edition of The Last Story. You'll also get a big ugly USK rating. I hate these things because they ruin the boxart.

Why do we have to have them? Actually, don't answer that, I don't care. The right question is do German people really have such poor eyesight? What the fuck is their problem? Why does the rating have to be bigger than the PEGI one? Why should Irish people have to suffer this desecrating our game's boxart?

I was really pissed off when I saw the big ass USK rating on Skyward Sword's limited edition box.

Seeing display boxes for The Last Story

I'm starting to see them now. It has that picture of the girl facing to the left with her hand on her bosom making her bust look huge from a distance.

It of course has Nobuo Uematsu and Hironobu Sakaguchi's names on the cover.

The cover also has an EDGE magazine 8/10 rating.

I'm bored already but I'll try my best to approach it with an open mind.

The second game in the Operation Rainfall trilogy we always knew was coming to Europe but now we have a definite release date: 24th of February 2012.

I know next to nothing about the game. I'm going to hazard a guess and say it won't be as good as Skyward Sword so I don't want to bother with Xenoblade comparisons just yet.

Can we add Another Code R to Operation Rainfall please?

Everybody online is getting excited about getting the Last Story, Pandora's Tower and Xenoblade localised in America. More power to them but I would ask them to root for games like Another Code R as well.

Don't forget about other games that didn't get released over there; they are pretty good!

being registered and when you go there it links to Nintendo's global index. The excitement is of course due to the fact that we don't have a solid release date for anywhere in the west yet and the fact that this is registered suggests that it will likely get released in America.
