Every DS game should have a sound test with the L and R buttons acting as "Prev" and "Next" in sleep mode

The title says it all really :)

Konami Acrade Classics had this and it was brilliant. Made me unplug from the iPod and into the DS on many commutes!

A Link Between Worlds Link looks like...

I've been watching new screenshots and footage of the new game in the Zelda series and... wow Link looks really bushy and furry. Massive prominent eyebrows and little stubby arms and legs. All the characters are like little gophers or something or... remember those Troll dolls from the '90s?

It's cool though. It'll be fun playing in this world full of hairy little gnomes.

Senran Kagura Burst: "A little bustier than usual"

I hear this is getting a physical release in Europe. I'm looking forward to it.

A lady at the American publisher for this game said this quote of the characters. She also said it was a complete story.

The prospect of being absorbed in a cosy universe(like in a visual novel) where it's "a little bustier than usual" is something that really appeals to me! I'm often disappointed by in-game worlds that don't deliver on this front, so this is something that's genuinely interesting.

September! Time to go fishing for salmon in New Leaf!

According to the wiki I'm using, salmon and king salmon only appear in September. Interesting kind of rarity and they don't sell for that much. In any case, get fishing!

Here are a couple of things the red and white 2DS reminds me of:

-Cork football team colours
-Polish flag

Stuff I want for a possible 2DS XL

Might as well start thinking about it!

-Bigger buttons
-Faster loading
-Big quality d-pad like on console controllers
-Comfortable enough to hold and use every input instead of "pinching" the corner to use d-pad.


I'm thinking of another point to do with the camera; maybe a lens cap or something.

Nintendo 2DS revealed! It's going to be great!

Oh man, this was quite a surprise! I really want to hold and play one of these things!

I've taken every opportunity to say how much I don't like the 3D effect in Nintendo's customer surveys and now they have this thing that doesn't have it. They can go on about younger audiences and Pokémon fans all they like; this new hardware is also intended for the likes of ME!

I'm making a "Nintendo 2DS" label for this post and ones to follow; I may even phase out the "nintendo 3ds" label completely! Happy days!
