Dragon Quest VI's 'Patrick'

I'm seeing a lot of those juicy screenshots for Dragon Quest VI and there's a character there called Patrick. At this stage, wouldn't it be stupid if it didn't come out in Ireland? For heaven's sake announce a release date for here please!!!
